Now, as for Colts Camp itself, Kylin lets me know that Jonathan Taylor is calling in now. So let's get right to it. He is in his sixth year as the running back of the Indianapolis Colts. It is an interesting year because it is one that we have not talked a lot about Jonathan Taylor. That's good. He is coming off his second Pro Bowl appearance. And I guess we'll get to the little skirmish here in just a little bit. But let's welcome him in. Jonathan Taylor to the program here on Quarian Company.

him in. Jonathan Taylor to the program here on Quarian Company. Jonathan is a pleasure. How are you? I'm doing well today. How about to show? You know what? I can't complain, but I'm not the one that's out there having to run around in ridiculous heat, right? I mean, like, this is no joke. This is not Wisconsin. I'm sure you're aware of that. But let's get right to this.

For you personally, camp has always been kind of an interesting ride because there have been years where, you know, we didn't know if John of the Taylor is going to be on the field and then there been years. And I understand it. I mean, you know, contractual things, injuries, etc. what is it you know what is the mindset for you now being able to just clean slate, let's go, good to go,

0:57.4

and just how you feel both physically and mentally?

1:01.1

We're so scheduled and so regimented and are scheduled that when you have a timeline and let's say you had

1:12.3

something to take care of in the off season to get healthy and then at that point in time you're

1:16.2

not ready because we know the body is weird and it acts different so you get a little frustrated

1:20.8

because you know you put so much working and yet still you weren't able to be healthy to be on the

1:24.6

field so finally being able to have another camp where you can just come out,

1:28.3

focus on your craft, I think it's just that much better in order to build that chemistry

1:31.8

with the guys up front, but then also just preparing for the season to have everything

1:36.3

in the playbook under your belt and all the little nuances that we might have picked up

1:40.5

throughout the off season, having that lockdown heading into the season.

1:44.0

Over the course of your career, you have obviously taken handoffs from myriad of

1:49.9

quarterbacks. As a running back, how important is it to have stability at the quarterback

1:55.5

position in terms of just the overall, I guess chemistry, timing all of it.

2:02.7

Well, number one, especially with ball handling.

2:05.1

You know, when you just continuously are getting handoffs in the same quarterback,

2:09.2

you kind of know their steps, you know, an outside zone.

2:12.5

Are they, you know, a longer step guy, or they're a shorter step guy?
