Ward, Ursay died peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday afternoon.

I remember where it was when I got the text.

I remember how I got it.

It was a surprise.

And he's had health issues in recent years.

But there was no idea.

There was no clue that he was close to the end.

I don't know that anyone knew.

I don't know whether they were being discreet.
