Summary
(00:00-30:19) – Query & Company opens on a Friday with Jake Query, James Boyd, and producer Eddie Garrison discussing the kitten that is stuck in Jake’s car. They debate if Boo is behind it in aspirations of having a friend to hang out with while Jake is gone. They eventually get into the Colts OTA practice from yesterday with Adonai Mitchell and Anthony Richardson displaying a little bit of a connection and James stating that he finds it difficult to evaluate Laiatu Latu because there isn’t a lot of contact.
(30:19-43:47) – Jake and James shift their conversation from the Indianapolis Colts to the Indiana Fever after another loss last night to the Seattle Storm. Jake and James debate on when the honeymoon phase for Caitlin Clark will end with the team struggling.
(43:47-45:50) – Hour one concludes with Jake providing an update on the kitten that is stuck in his car.
(45:50-1:16:23) – Hour number two with Jake Query and James Boyd starts with Kevin Bowen from the Wake Up Call with KB & Andy sharing his observations from the second OTA practice the media was able to see yesterday, assesses what kind of potential Jelani Woods has after seeing him make some plays in yesterday’s practice session, examines how Anthony Richardson’s shoulder has looked so far, and they promote the upcoming event the fan is doing at Back 9 Golf & Entertainment in July!
(1:16:23-1:30:04) – After their conversation about Kevin Bowen, Jake and James discuss Jake starting to get into golf after saying for years he wouldn’t do it. Additionally, Jake attempts to get Corbin to adopt the kitten that Jake brought with him to work today.
(1:30:04-1:32:23) – The second hour of the program concludes with Jake discussing the latest whereabouts of the cat that Jake brought with him to work. Jake starts wondering if this kitten is his problem or Corbin’s with the cat moving from Jake’s car to Corbin’s.
(1:32:23-2:01:27) –Shane Young from Forbes Sports joins Jake Query and James Boyd to assess the likelihood that the Indiana Pacers make it back to the Eastern Conference Finals with the collection of players that they currently have, shares what he believes the next step in Tyrese Haliburton’s growth is, states that Andrew Nembhard will be a very sought after player if the Pacers were willing to make him available for trade, and lays out the differences between growing up in Kentucky to now living in Arizona.
(2:01:27-2:14:09) – As we do every Friday on Query & Company, Jake shares a feel-good story. Today’s story is about a person who just graduated from college and was able to meet their mom after walking across the stage and deliver great news. As always, this story is courtesy of our friends over at Franciscan Health!
(2:14:09-2:20:35) – Today’s show ends with Jake and James getting into a debate about the future of Andrew Nembhard with the Indiana Pacers with his value at an all-time high.

| 0:00.0 | Okay, I just walked in, literally just walked in the building and let me tell you why, and I'm going to start the show. And there's plenty to talk about today. James Boyd joining us. We've got Colts to discuss. NBA, finals are set. WNBA we can discuss. But you guys are aware of what I'm about to bring up. Now, I'm, are you going to give me clearance here to discuss this right off the top of the show? I think so, yeah. Yes, sir. I'm going to send out a |
| 0:25.6 | plea, and I will admit, I'm totally rattled. I'm not going to lie. I am totally, like, |
| 0:33.1 | emotionally rattled in a panic a little bit. I was driving to work and about, I don't know, the first or second stoplight that I came to, I was like, what is that noise? |
| 0:49.3 | But whatever, I just continued on about my drive. |
| 0:53.3 | And I got to work and I parked in our parking garage on level P2, |
| 0:58.0 | which means the second story of the basement in the building. |
| 1:03.1 | And I parked, got out of the car, and heard the noise again. |
| 1:08.7 | And one of our colleagues was down also. |
| 1:11.7 | There's very rarely anybody in the parking garage on the floor that I park. |
| 1:15.1 | But thank goodness someone else was there. |
| 1:18.1 | And I'm like, what is that noise? |
| 1:22.0 | Investigated further. |
| 1:23.1 | And I've read of these things happening. |
| 1:25.5 | It's never happened to me. |
| 1:27.1 | There is what I presume to be |
| 1:29.2 | an extremely sweet kitten that is stuck in the wheel well engine of my car. It looks to be unhurt. |
| 1:38.0 | I think it climbed up. It's kind of hard to explain. I mean, who knows? I don't know engines, |
| 1:43.7 | but there is an open area of the engine of my car that I presume is where it got in. I mean, obviously it got in somehow. But it is a combination. I think of, I don't think it's hurt. I hope it's not. It appears terrified. And it's meowing. I don't know if it's meowing in distress or in like, |
| 2:03.1 | you know, get me the hell out of here. But literally I just discovered this. And for the last |
| 2:08.5 | 25 minutes, I've been in the garage trying to figure out, first of figuring out what the noise was. |
| 2:12.3 | Then once I saw it, I couldn't believe it. I mean, it was like, oh my gosh. And it is a tiny |
| 2:16.2 | kitten. And it is begging and pleading basically to get out. |
