Summary

(00:00-23:30) – Query & Company opens on a Friday with Jake Query, Jimmy Cook, and producer Eddie Garrison sharing some good news for the Indianapolis Colts. They explain how critical it was that the Cincinnati Bengals lost last night to the Baltimore Ravens for the Colts playoff odds. Also, they look at the Indiana Hoosiers College Football Playoff odds with three games left in the season.

(23:30-36:20) – The Athletic’s Austin Meek joins Query & Company to preview tomorrow’s IU vs Michigan football game, believes that the Michigan defense is operating on life support with how dependent the team’s success has relied on it, admits that he has gone from being skeptical about Indiana to being a believer in the Hoosiers, and states that this Michigan team doesn’t really have an identity because of how many quarterback changes the Wolverines have gone through this season.

(36:20-41:48) – Hour number one concludes with Jake sharing a story about visiting Starbucks last week in Ireland compared to visiting one downtown earlier this week.

(41:48-1:04:11) – Jake and Jimmy open hour two by going through the list of players that were, or weren’t, participating at practice today for the Indianapolis Colts. Also, they take a couple calls from Colts fans that share where they are at right now with this team considering the mixed messages the team has sent this season.

(1:04:11-1:17:49) – IndyStar’s high school sports reporter, Kyle Neddenriep, makes his weekly visit on the program with Jake Query and Jimmy Cook to preview some of the sectional championship games across the state tonight. He believes that Lawrence North still doesn’t receive the respect they should because they aren’t Ben Davis, Center Grove, etc. Additionally, he highlights a couple teams that are playing their best football right now that could make it to the state finals.

(1:17:49-1:23:09) – Hour number two concludes with Jake and Jimmy diving into what the Colts offense could look like on Sunday without Michael Pittman Jr. They wonder who steps up in his place, even though he hasn’t produced at a high level this season.

(1:23:09-1:49:16) – The Fan’s Kevin Bowen joins Query & Company to explain what he expects the Colts offense to look like on Sunday without Michael Pittman Jr., assesses if Shane Steichen overthinks things as a play caller, evaluates the odds of the Colts defeating the Bills on Sunday, highlights the ability of Josh Allen to make something out of nothing late in games because of his backyard football ability, and believes that Jonathan Taylor will be heavily utilized on Sunday.

(1:46:04-1:58:09) – Indiana Pacers forward Jarace Walker joins Query & Company fresh off his breakout performance last night against the Orlando Magic to provide his perspective on his performance. Walker also opens to Jake and Jimmy about how he approached his rookie season knowing his minutes would be all over the place, assesses if his minutes increased because of his confidence, or his confidence increased with more minutes, and believes their locker room is one of the best in the NBA. Also, Matt Taylor makes an appearance on the program, but his time is cut short due to phone issues.

(1:58:09-2:04:33) – Today’s show ends with the JCook Plays of the Day and the guys sharing their predictions for IU/Michigan and Colts/Bills!
