Summary

(00:00-22:01) – Query & Company opens on a victory Monday with Jake Query, Jimmy Cook, and producer Eddie Garrison sharing their thoughts on the ugly win for the Colts yesterday over the Titans. Jake and Jimmy ponder the idea if there really is a quarterback controversy behind closed doors, but the team doesn’t want to acknowledge it.

(22:01-30:38) – Jake and Jimmy take phone calls from Colts fans with questions for Jake and Jimmy about where the team is at now. One caller brings up the point that none of the quarterbacks that were discussed in the first segment had the lack of college experience like Anthony Richardson.

(30:38-41:08) – Hour number one concludes with Jake and Jimmy answering more phone calls about the Colts game yesterday and the situation the team is in right now with Anthony Richardson and Joe Flacco.

(41:08-1:03:42) – The Dean, Mike Chappell, from CBS4 and FOX59 joins Jake Query & Jimmy Cook to provide his insight on how Anthony Richardson went from trending to starting to being the emergency quarterback. Assesses if there are veteran players on the team that would ask for Flacco to start because he gives them the best chance to win and then evaluates the production the Colts have received from their running backs the last two games without Jonathan Taylor.

(1:03:42-1:13:20) – Radio voice of the Indiana Hoosiers, Don Fischer, joins Query & Company to share what the Indiana Hoosiers did during their bye week last week, previews Indiana’s opponent on Saturday in the Nebraska Cornhuskers, and tries to go back in time to share what he would say a year ago if you told him the Indiana football would be ranked higher in the rankings than Indiana basketball.

(1:13:20-1:20:05) – Hour number two concludes with Jake asking Eddie to reveal what he discovered when evaluating the Colts pass rush the last couple of games. They discuss the lack of production recently from Laiatu Latu.

(1:20:05-1:38:20) – Hour number three with Jake Query and Jimmy Cook starts with the two of them rehashing some of their thoughts on the Colts defeating the Titans. Additionally, they take a few calls from fans that express their thoughts on where the team is right now and what they want to see from the team moving forward.

(1:38:20-1:52:50) – Colts safety Nick Cross joins the program to reveal what the Colts defense said on the sidelines after giving up the touchdown run to Tony Pollard, shares when the game really started to slow down for him, labels Stephon Gilmore, DeForest Buckner, and Shaq Leonard as the veterans that took him under his wing as a rookie, and then previews the upcoming challenge the Colts have in containing Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, and De’Von Achane.

(1:52:50-2:01:03) – Today’s show ends with the JCook Plays of the Day and Eddie sharing a couple bets that he likes tonight. Finally, they react to comments made by Shane Steichen moments leading up to the segment about Anthony Richardson.

And then obviously we get the news that Joe Flacco is the guy that's going to be the quarterback for the Colts yesterday.

0:20.4

And yeah, it wasn't like the most hanging in the Louvre style win.

0:25.3

But it's a win nonetheless for the Colts.

0:29.3

And now you get a situation where they really have a chance.

0:33.2

I mean, whoever would have to guess this, and I know that it's really early in the year

0:36.6

and probably too early to even mention this, but to use as a barometer,

0:40.6

you know, they are obviously right there swimming in the not necessarily completely deep end,

but that weird area between the lap lanes and the diving area of the pool

And so as I'm looking at it, I'm thinking, okay, you have two different things in play here.

And I got to thinking about this song from, I don't know if it was like my late high school or early college.

1:19.7

And it's called Heart and Soul.

1:20.5

And I'll play it in just a second.

1:21.6

But the thing that's great about it is you hear it for like a hundred times before you realize that what's happening

is two things at once.

1:33.8

Now, Eddie, go ahead and play this song.

1:35.5

This is Heart and Soul by, I think, T-Pow is the name of the artist or something along those lines.
