Calvary Church is dedicated to doctrine, and we want you to experience the life change that comes from knowing God's word and applying it to your life.

So we explain the Bible first by verse, every chapter, every book. This is expound.

We are in the book of Colossians.

Turn in your Bibles, and if you don't have one, there's one somewhere close to you, we believe.

So grab one and open to the New Testament book of Colossians.

If you are new, Wednesday night is a low-key worship service in that, or church service in that, instead of a formal

sermon behind a pulpit, it's a little more relaxed, though we ask you to remain seated through

the entire service. That's the only un-low-key thing that we ask.

We ask you for that commitment.

But it's just, I liken it to a living room.

A rather large living room, yes, but a living room nonetheless, we're kicked back.

I'm on a stool.

You're seated down.

And we are going through the

chapters of the Bible, chapter by chapter, book by book, verse by verse.

Paul said, I have not shunned to declare to you the whole council of God. I've wanted to

model that. I don't feel that I could ever tell a church that I've given you the whole

counsel of God unless I have taught through the entire Bible. We have done that a few times.

We are currently going back and forth from the Old to the New Testament, and God willing,

we're going to finish the book of Colossians.

Chapter 4 is a short chapter. I'm going to dip back into Chapter 3 because I was gone for a week,

and I want to get a little bit of context. Plus, we sort of left off at verse 17 of chapter 3.
