One of the dangers that we face in a world with information at our fingertips, literally, is looking for answers to the mysteries

and difficulties of life everywhere except where it's promised in God's word.

Today on through the Bible, our teacher Dr. J. Vernon McGee is going to take us deeper into the book of Colossians

where we find that only in Jesus can all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge be found,

as chapter 2 verse 2 tells us.

I'm Steve Sweats welcoming you, aboard the Bible bus for another great study in God's

word.

So while you find your seat, let's welcome my friend and through the Bible's President

Greg Harris, who's with us today so

hi Greg hi Steve tell us what's on your mind well I'm thinking about home groups

and I know it's something you and I love to talk about because it is a vehicle of delivering God's word and

watching him transform people's lives. And we're gonna start with a response

from a home group in a country that you and I have been together and actually

sat in some home groups inside literally a tin shed with a young man and probably a

third of the group not even being Christians. Yeah, yeah, and just a little light bulb hanging,

a bare light bulb hanging.

Yeah, very powerful experience for us.

So with that as a background, let me read this first one.

It says, my name is Dallum Roy. I am a home group leader. I used to listen to through

the Bible one day in a week with my home group members. I have learned a lot through the

systematic Bible teaching and tried to apply it to my personal life.
