Well even if you don't remember this Rolling Stones hits,

maybe you know what it's talking about.

Throughout time satisfaction has been nothing but an elusive dream

for people looking for life apart from God.

I'm Steve Schweetz on through the Bible.

Our teacher Dr. J. Vernon McGee is going to tell us that we can know a deep satisfaction in life

when we find our lives in Christ. We're just beginning

in the New Testament Book of Colossians and as you find it in your Bible let's hear

from a listener in Ghana, West Africa. Now usually I read read letters to you, but this time we're going to hear Dr. McGee share the letter

and then follow up with an explanation of the young man's question, which he'll explain

more in our study in Colossians.

I would like to make known to you that since I started with you

I have gained a new life in Jesus that I've changed entirely.

Now what I'm praying for is the Holy Spirit.

I want the Holy Spirit to come and stay with me so that I may put up a good fight if any temptation

comes into my way.

I hope you'll pray for me to gain the Holy Spirit. May I pause now to say to this young

man that as you trusted Christ the Holy Spirit did several wonderful things for you.
