Mochewanunu back here in New York City. And I'm also back in New York. I'm Jill Wagner. This is

the place where we bring you just the facts. And we read all the news and read between the lines.

So you don't have to Jill, we've gotten great feedback so far on the interviews in Washington.

It was a huge day for Mo news to really big interviews. Of course,

Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken and also John Kirby, spokesperson for the National Security

Council. I thought you asked really great questions, Mochewanunu. We didn't get a ton of time

with them. I mean, relatively speaking, we got a lot of time, but you just typically don't get

hours and hours to question these officials. And I thought that we did a really good job and

you did a great job with the questions and really focusing on what people actually want to know.

Yeah, I mean, that's the thing with these interviews is, you know, one of their jobs as

spokespeople as diplomats is to not create conflict. Not to upset people. Somebody was saying like,

what's up with Blinken? I'm like, well, his job is to not have said Joe Biden, Congress, the American

people, 197 countries around the world, including the Israelis, the Palestinians, the Arab world,

the Europeans, and folks at the UN. So with all that in mind, that's how he approaches his answers

to questions. So that's always a challenge, unless they want to drop some news on you.

Always a challenge to kind of get them to reveal more, especially if they're good at their jobs.

But it's our job to ask them hard questions, which I think we did hit as many topics as we can

incorporate some of the questions we got from all of you submitted on Instagram. So grateful for

all of that. Jill, I should note, so after the interview with Blinken, they had a State Department

holiday party for the media that covers the State Department. So thankfully,

gratefully, we were invited to that, ran into some of the correspondence who've been covering
