My first daughter was born at Fort Carson, so I hold the town and the base close to my heart.

But in all the cases that I covered, today's case and one other one that I covered for my premium subscribers, on the murders of Kevin Shields and Robert James,

well, these two cases, both at a Fort Carson, they left me with a very dark and disgusting feeling in the Pyramid stomach.

Serial killer cases are always hard to listen to, but when they involve more than one serial killer working in tandem, and all with some connection to Fort Carson,

the shock value is too much to handle.
