0:22.6	First of all, thank you for joining us and congratulations on joining the Colorado Eagles.
0:27.6	I guess first question, did it just work out that it happened to be Colorado or how did you end up here?
0:35.6	It was one that I think just kind of worked out.
0:40.4	There were some things that were going on.
0:43.3	Some other teams had reached out and just happened
0:46.1	to get connected with Colorado in the process
0:48.9	and had a great conversation with KMAC.
0:52.2	And then Mark Letestu took over and really was able to connect with him.
0:56.2	And so it worked out perfectly and one that I was relying on as an organization, having
1:01.9	kind of been around it a little bit secondhand and then talk to my dad, it's a top-notch
1:06.8	organization and through and through.
1:08.6	And so it was when that kind of started to come about,
1:11.3	it got really exciting for my wife and I.
1:16.2	What, first of all, awesome to have you on.
1:20.7	And just for our listeners, Avalanche Fateful,
1:25.7	Timmy Army, Derek's dad, was assistant coach forever with the avalanche. But also, Timi and I were nemesis back then. I was playing with the Kings, and Timmy was assistant coaching the ducks. You know what I mean? Now he's back with the Anhyme ducks, full circle for, and your mom is wonderful too, the way sue is on great late so I
1:46.2	remember just for everybody out there I'm getting old I remember Derek it was in
1:50.3	prep school I want to say when when your dad was working right when you had
1:54.7	gunnery when your dad was here yes right right in there the Providence College
