Colombia has a election coming up literally in May, so, you know, next month.

What is so special about this one?

I understand there's going to be, there is a lot of contention already,

and there's, you know, possible, quite possible situations here where there's going to be, let's say, you know, commotion, maybe even violence.

What's the situation right now with these elections coming up in Colombia?

Right. So elections in Colombia are normally quite violent, often quite violent, let me say,

because the armed groups in Colombia always take this opportunity to launch a series of attacks

with the goal being to show an incoming administration, we're powerful, you have to deal with us somehow.

Right. Don't think we won't kind of thing. Exactly. So it's always this kind of thing.

This one in particular, people fear is going to be bad because it's really coming over the past,

say, eight years of deteriorating security across Colombia.

So people are saying this could be the most violent election since the 2000s, the beginning
