Hebrews 10. Look at, look at this. It's interesting. Verse 23. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope.

Jason quoted this tonight in regard to Sarah. Without wavering. Without wavering. Why do we not waver?

For he who promised is faithful. He who promised is faithful.

God's promise to Sarah, Jason,

did not come by way of the Bible.

And people who think that God puts greater weight on his written word

than he does on his spoken word are people who do not

understand the sovereignty of God.

Well, I need to find that in the Bible.

Sarah did not say, my descendants being as the sand to the seashore, is something I have to find in the Bible.

Get this.

Understand this.

We are really cessationist and don't admit it.

When I say cessationist, I'm using a theological term that is used in many mainline denominational circles

to identify that there was a time that God moved miraculously, but that has ceased.

And those people are called cessationists.

There's two groups of people that try to do away with the miraculous intervention of God,

dispensationalist and cessationist.

And they literally say those things have ceased,

and the charisma of the charismatic gifts of the spirit are not in operation anymore

because they ceased.

But what people do not understand is that you cannot over-emphasize the canon.
