I wanted to just say real quick here that this podcast is a kind of a two-parter, really a

three-part, eclectic episode. And you may have heard

the first part of this on our biblical world podcast that focuses on Elephantine, an island, a Jewish

colony, and on the Nile in Egypt, an ancient Jewish colony there.

And then I talk with Colin Cornell, who I'm interviewing in this podcast, about two other

books that he was involved in.

One, he wrote, and another one he was editor for.
