I'm joined by our baseball expert, Colin Wilson.

And before we get to the final, we have to discuss the game of the

year in college baseball.

It lived up to the hype.

It was supposed to be a pitching duel for the ages.

And it was, Red Ladder comes in 18 and 0 in his starts.

Wake Forest had won every single game that he started on the

season.

He gives them seven innings, six k's, zero runs on the board.

Paul Schien's does him one better, pitches eight innings, nine k's.

But really with the chips down, LSU made two of the top plays of the

game.

Frame Morgan saves the day coming in from first base.

It ends up picking up a bunch down the first baseline, a little

short arm flip to home saves the season for LSU.

And then the 11th inning Tommy tanks doing what he does catches a

slider hang and just a little bit drives the left field puts the

Bayou Bengals into the national championship final, which will be a
