Week after week sees Notre Dame play an opponent coming off a bye and now they get a highly ranked Bearcats team with playoff aspirations. Following a 31-point outburst to close out Wisconsin, will Notre Dame have an emotional letdown? Iowa looked clunky against Colorado State in a game that shouldn’t have been close and now they get an undefeated Maryland team featured in a primetime affair. Kirk Ferentz must get the ground game going to support Spencer Petras in order to avoid an upset. Lane Kiffin and Nick Saban meet yet again; while the players have changed, Kiffin brings a bigger gun into this fight. Matt Corral, a Heisman hopeful and potential top NFL draft pick can elevate his stock if he pulls off an upset on the road. Speaking of upset, can Jayden Daniels do the same at the Rose Bowl? Arizona State hasn’t been anything to brag about, but UCLA was the exact opposite until their shocking home loss to Fresno State.
