It's been a season of high and lows for Arkansas football,

and this weekend at home against Texas is really their last big chance to make a splash.

No disrespect to Missouri, but this one hits different. Texas, riding high after, even though

they lost to Georgia at home bouncing back, they destroyed Florida. And even though that loss didn't seem to hurt them at all in the eyes of the college football

playoff committee as they're still ranked third, some people are questioning how good Texas

really is. And this weekend would be a nice feather in their cap if they win.

But I think the question needs to be asked is how dangerous is this weekend for the

Longhorns in general? We're from a 30,000 foot view, it looks dangerous as hell, and not just because

A&M is on the horizon, or this could be a quote-unquote trap game, even though it's really not.

They're dangerous because Arkansas is dangerous. Bobby Petrino, getting a byweek to sit in the lab with a pen and a pad trying to get this damn tailing off could be a big problem.

Arkansas's defense should still be embarrassed after giving up a 63 piece with Cajun fries and a honey biscuit to Ole Miss a couple weeks ago.

And we have seen them stand up against teams like Tennessee. So Texas isn't going to be able to just walk in there and play okay and win.

While Arkansas isn't dominant, they're good enough to beat Texas, and it's the last big show of Sam Pittman's 24 tour.

My biggest factors that will decide this game are pretty obvious and simple, but important.
