There are plenty questions out there about how the college football playoff committee will select the at-large bids in the first year of the 12-team playoff.

But one of the most fascinating questions and scenarios to me is how are they going to treat teams that lose the conference championship game?

If a 10-2 team loses in the conference championship game and they wind up 10-3,
