On today's college football inquirer, the governor of Louisiana drops a bomb on the LSU

athletic director. Also, we've got playoff elimination games. We've got one in Knoxville between

Oklahoma and Tennessee. We've got one in Lincoln between USC and Nebraska. A lot going on

in the world college football. I got a feeling.

And boy, do I have a feeling this week. All on today's college football inquire.

This is the college football inquire. I am Andy Staples here with Stephen Godfrey and Louisiana

whisperer. Ross Dillinger.

Ross, you are uniquely qualified to talk about the thing that happened on Wednesday, which was very uniquely Louisiana, very uniquely college football.

I just set it up.

The governor of Louisiana, Jeff Landry,

was giving a press conference about food stamps

and someone asked him about LSU football.

I'm going to let you take that from here.

He went crazy.

Yeah, it wasn't really a news conference

that's supposed to be about sports,

but given what happened on Sunday with the firing of Brian Kelly in the meeting at the Louisiana Governor's Mansion, sports was asked about.

And Jeff Randallandrie, the governor of Louisiana took that opportunity and ran with it in a way where even in that state, I've never quite seen anything like that

and certainly not anything like that across college athletics.

He basically, yeah, to sum it up, he sort of eviscerated LSU's sitting athletic director who was still employed

and over the contract of Brian Kelly and how big of the buyout was.

And he suggested that Scott Woodward certainly will not make the next hire of a football coach. And he also
