All right, this is exciting.

On the eve of college football with Florida State and Georgia Tech,

we have done a series of positive reinforcements that I know I'm rough on the state of the sport. I do blame RICO Beard for most of it. But this week we have tried

positive things. So today I want to do a Blitz and it is all about the beauty of college football that Rico is killing, but it was the off-brand

superstars that got you to fall in love with the sport.

I'm going to be giving you the players

that both were at the start of my love affair with college football

but also kept me loving the sport. Off-brand stars.

So an example, like a, what was it,

Byron Leffich, when they had to wheel him down the field on the final drive.

Probably a little more off-brand than that, but you're on the right track.

It's guys that generally don't play at Blue Blood programs and didn't really go on to have these huge NFL careers.

There are a couple exceptions in here, but just really good college football

players that you had to find.

Now remember, I'm a child of the 90s, so some of these Kenny will have no shot. Some of these more recent.

quarterbacks that really was interesting in college football,

SEC on ESPN, and the only quarterback I've ever seen,
