So Dylan Cese signing with the Toronto Blue Jays, the World Series runner-ups obviously

losing to the Dodgers in seven.

And Cease, coming off a bit of a down year with the Padres, 8 and 12 record, ERA of 4.5,

still struck out 215 batters, has got electric stuff.

I love this move from Toronto.

Lose the World Series in absolute gut punch fashion with the way Game 7 went down and the end of

game 6 as well, to the L.A. Dodgers, who obviously won. And the Blue Jays not resting on their

laurels, pedal to the medal, trying to get back to the Fall Classic. And you look at their

rotation for next year and how it shapes up. Kevin Galsman's going to be back. Shane Bieber's going to be back with the Blue Jays. Trey Yassavage, obviously, who was a revelation down the stretch and in the postseason. Now here's Dylan Cease. If you're a Blue Jays fan, you have to love this. The way that happens, you haven't won a World Series since 93, not resting on your laurels, don't want to be a one hit, a one year wonder, get right back into October next year and give it another try. I love this from a Blue Jays perspective. And I'll just say this as a Yankee fan. Maybe the Yankees can win more regular season games than the Blue Jays next year. They didn't last year.

Finished with the same record and the Blue Jays had the tiebreaker and then had home field in the ALDS and the Blue Jays won that series 3-1. You made me pick like Blue Jays or Yankees next year to win the World Series? I'll take the Dodgers, but it's easily the Toronto Blue Jays. I love this for Toronto.
