Hello and welcome to this episode of Kennedy Saves the World.

This is the UCLA Bruins' victory lap celebration after defeating the number seven football team in the country, Penn State.

We all assumed me prime among them that at the time, O and four Bruins, would get a good

bloody buggering, the likes of which no one who is affiliated with the school wanted to live through,

and we had pre-savved our bottoms.

Having said that, it was a tremendous, I'm going to say a blowout, 42-37 Bruins on the right side of victory here.

And Jimmy Fela joins me to discuss how great this feels because someone very close to both of us is a big Penn State fan.

Is he ever?

And he's a little down on himself right now.

You know who else should be down on themselves?

Every a-hole that does preseason rankings for college football.

Because you know who the number one team was preseason?

Texas.

You know the number two was Penn State?

You know what they both have in common?

They're not even ranked in the top 25.

Yeah, Penn State is now ranked 28th.

The old, Penn State is ranked higher in daycares than in football.

Okay, so is it because of the transfer portal and the NIL money?

Is there, are there just so many outstanding variables that it's impossible to know what a team

even is at this point?

I think that's a big, big component of it.
