And the Super Regionals are set.

The action, talking about from a regional standpoint, ended last night, had some teams move on,

had some teams get eliminated, had some drama, another huge upset, which we're going to get to

in a minute. But when you look at the way that the SEC has performed so far in the postseason,

it's been a letdown. You can love the SEC, you can hate the SEC,

you can think they're the evil empire, you can think they're the saving white night. But at the

end of the day, out of the 13 teams that made the postseason from the southeastern conference,

nine, including the number one overall seed Vanderbilt, hosted a regional, lost it,

and the number two overall seed Texas, hosted a regional and lost it, they are now out. So in a conference that prides

itself, particularly on baseball and the dominance level that we have seen in the past, it's been a

huge letdown. There's no other way to spend it. It's been the opposite of what we saw during March Madness in college basketball where the SEC got a record number of teams in. You ended up having a decent amount of teams advance going to the final four and then four to winning the national championship. But there's no other way to slice it. The SEC's been a huge letdown so far in the postseason, but that's how it goes sometimes. It's baseballs, whether you hate them or whether you love them.

Truth is, facts don't care about your feelings.
