I think one of the ways you can understand the health of Formula One is if you go to the race meeting and you prefer the F2 race then they're in trouble.

Everybody looked like a zombie and they were, everyone was shattered after Las Vegas.

And that meant that if you were driving at about 100 miles an hour down the motorway,

you'd get probably three minutes of a radio station before it cuts

So talk us through it. Well I had an amazing weekend and it was you know partly

race partly a few bits and pieces to do with my professional life but I have to say my big observation was the paddock was maybe

two-thirds full compared to other Abu-Dabi races and you know even compared to last year and the championship was decided last year

well and bance too what I did see was zombies

And when you had little chats with people, I mean we were guests of McLaren and talking to the peers Andrea and even

Zach they've normally got a big reserve of energy but 22 Grand Prix and having this race a week after Las Vegas.

I mean, I think it was peers who were saying that, no, actually it was somebody from Mercedes who was saying,

you know the delayed practice that in Las Vegas you know because of the man
