Hello, welcome to the Collecting Addictive Podcast episode number 25,

which according to my ropey maths is a quarter of a way to a century. What amazing times these are.

This week we better start with some F1 because there was a race at the weekend. We haven't had F1

at the top of the agenda for a while. You might find it boring, but it is the biggest motorsport

in our sphere and we have to discuss it. Managed, taught me through the shambles of track

limits and then we'll talk about other stuff. Okay, so the Austrian Grand Prix.

We all watched a race that we thought was a race. Shortly after the race, a bunch of protests

happened and I have no idea who protested what or how or when, but it turns out,

nor did the drivers. But it was just driving on their merry way and it turns out that 1200 track

limits were exceeded. So what we thought happened, didn't really happen, orders were changed

and actually Chris Cooper is going to be the total expert on this because I've been wondering

and there's a good old Maximus in there and Formula One, why can't you treat the white lines

as if they're walls in Monaco and the answer to that has got to be because these guys are motoracing

drivers. There isn't actually a wall there. Exactly. If you don't have a wall there, guess what they're

going to do? They're going to go over it and see if they can get away with it. But I think

I think it's just got to a point of absurdity with this Grand Prix because the whole point of

track limits. Now, remember once I am actually sat with the Marshall at Silverstone. I can't

even remember which corner we were at. We were at it and you know, it was his job to log track
