Listen, I believe in Colin Kaepernick and he deserves every chance in the world to become

a quarterback in the National Football League.

I still stand by it if our coaches and general managers want to bring him in or want him to

be the quarterback on this team.

I would welcome him with open arms.

That was four weeks ago, Mark Davis, the owner of the Las Vegas Raiders opening the

door for his football team, if the coach in the GM.

So desire to take a closer look at Colin Kaepernick.

And this one came out of the blue on Wednesday afternoon, the Las Vegas Raiders working

out Colin Kaepernick.

The first workout he has received since becoming a free agent in 2017.

And a single team had even brought him in for a workout.

The Seahawks brought him in for a visit, no workout.

And the conclusion was, well, he's a starting quarterback in this league.

We have a starting quarterback, so we have no use for him.

Never mind.

They hold always compete motto that the Seahawks embrace, always compete except at the quarterback

position where we have some concern that there be some guys in the locker room that would

think Colin Kaepernick is better than our current starter and then we have a problem.

That's why the Seahawks didn't want anything to do with Colin Kaepernick in 2017.
