All right, welcome in to a Wednesday morning podcast. That was Ugly as hell. So the

Lakers missed 10 of their first 11 shots. Didn't play great defense for most of the

night. 20 turnovers shot 41% from the floor. LeBron, inexplicably struggled

with in-bounds passes, but they hold on to win and over time. Despite a weird AD

foul at the end of regulation, 108, 102. So it's a win. You know, they're not a great offensive

team. And it's a little disperting that in year 20, they still need LeBron to really

carry them down the stretch of a lot of games. AD was okay, mostly good. And what the

Lakers did last night. And we've talked about this. They're not a great offensive team.

I mean, they protect the rim. They initiate a lot of contacts. So they get to the free

throw line. And last night they were 22 or 24 from the free throw line. That's what they

did really well. They took advantage at the stripe. And that was the difference. And

there are team Minnesota relied Carl Anthony Towns at a good night, but they relied on

a lot of jump shots. And the Lakers tend to drive, create contact and get to the free throw

...
