Colin’s joined by John Middlekauff, host of “3 and Out” to break down all the NFL action.

They start with the Broncos beating the Chiefs to blow the AFC West race wide open & they credit Sean Payton for building a stacked roster while still paying  big dead cap money to Russell Wilson, and debate whether the Chiefs dynasty is officially over (3:30).

They move to the Rams win over the Seahawks and Colin argues that if the roles were reversed and Matt Stafford had thrown 4 interceptions instead of Sam Darnold…. the game wouldn’t have been close, and they agree the Rams have Darnold’s number (16:45).

They pivot to the Bears walk-off win over the Vikings and they both agree that J.J. McCarthy does NOT look like a starting quarterback, and that the contrast between McCarthy and Caleb Williams could not be more stark.They also tip their cap to Ben Johnson for creating a winning culture in Chicago (30:00).

They recap the Bills win over the Bucs and Colin declares Josh Allen the best football player on the planet and that he IS the Bills franchise. They argue it was a must win game for the Bills and a loss could have been the beginning of the end for Sean McDermott (41:15). 

They recap the Ravens ugly win over the Browns in Shedeur Sanders debut (54:00), and argue the Packers are afraid of turning Jordan Love loose in the passing game after their narrow win over the Giants (56:45). 

They give kudos to both Kyle Shanahan and Brock Purdy for hanging 41 on the Cardinals in Purdy’s first game back from injury (1:02:00).

Finally, they move to college football and Colin argues that the transfer portal and NIL have created incredible parity at the top of the college football ranks and give their takeaways of the top contenders (1:14:00).
