It's kind of a blank slate and I try to understand financial statements, valuation, all of this in like a week by myself.

So like the usual approach is cast the widest net you possibly can.

For me, there were a couple of people that I connected really strongly with and I just talked to them.

I found consulting having a lot of more diversity, a lot of people being a little bit more open.

So I would say those two things made me shift to consulting.

So recurred again and ended up at BCG where we'll be starting next fall after graduation.

So I'm Luis Estrella.

I am a senior at Kobe College in Maine where I study economics and neuroscience.

And I'm originally from Panama City in Panama, I grew up playing soccer, I played soccer my entire life.

When I was around 16 years old, I came to the U.S. to play soccer at a prep school and a scholarship.

I was there for two years and then chose to come to Kobe.

It gave me the chance to keep playing soccer.

It gives me exposure to very strong academics. And I really enjoyed meeting the people and the team when I came to visit.

The sooner before my freshman year at Colby, I started thinking about what I wanted to study, what I wanted to pursue a career.

And I thought I wanted to study economics and then thought I wanted to go into investment banking.

So quickly understood this was a complex industry to break in. So started networking very early on.
