Mago was trying to do everything but paint him as one of their own, or I'm paraphrasing,

but he basically said the guy was a Trump supporter who killed Charlie Kirk. This was

shockingly offensive at a time when people are terrified. People witnessed a brutal, cold-blooded

murder of a young man in front of his wife and children. It's terrifying. And so when Jimmy Kimmel

said these offensive comments on his lowly rated show, it caused a lot of problems. Notably,

notably among advertisers, which the Wall Street Journal confirms, as well as affiliate networks

nationwide. Now, it is true that FCC chair, Brendan Carr, went on Benny Johnson's show

and said, you can't do this, and we're going to take a look. And that pressure did mean something. But there were many

factors at play. In fact, the New York Times basically says it was attacks on all fronts.

Stephen Colbert has doubled down showing Jimmy Kimmel's comments saying, what's wrong with

what he said? It's totally fine. Why would you cancel him for that?

Basically stating, the shooter was MAGA. But Colbert knows his show is already canceled, so he doesn't

really care. Now, the hypocrisy is laughable because when Tucker Carlson got taken off the air after a
