The Trump administration is reportedly exploring the use of blockchain technology

to overhaul U.S. international aid and development after dismantling the U.S. aid agency.

This move aims to enhance transparency and accountability and aid distribution, aligning with a broader pro-crypto stance from the administration.

Political reporting, the proposal would create the U.S. agency for international humanitarian

assistance to be leaner, more competitive with China, and focus on more traditional foreign aid policy.

Tokyo-based meta planet appointing Eric Trump, son of U.S. President Donald Trump, to its

Strategic Board of Advisors to boost Bitcoin adoption. The board will include influential voices and thought leaders.

The specifics have not yet been shared by Metaplanet, which holds over 3,200 BTC,

recently acquiring an additional 150 BTC for approximately $12.5 million.

Eric Trump has publicly endorsed Bitcoin and Ether investing on X, as well as

the Trump family's crypto venture, World Liberty Financial. In an effort to curb chokepoint

2.0, the covert debanking of crypto firms, U.S. national banks have been told Thursday by the

Office of the Controllary of the currency that they'll no longer have to answer how controversial customers might damage their reputations,

a point that had been criticized by crypto companies and insiders, arguing that it contributed to them being debanked.

The OCC is removing that factor from its supervision handbook.

It recently also erased earlier guidance that called for banks to get

pre-approval in writing from the agency if they wanted to handle digital assets business lines.
