Nigeria frees Binance compliance officer Tigran Gambarian.

Bloomberg reporting a Nigerian court

ordered his release after the government dropped charges against him to allow him to seek

medical treatment abroad. Gambarian was detained since February on charges alongside

Binance of money laundering. Gambarian and Binance denied the allegations. The charges against

finance would continue without Gambarian, who suffered deteriorating

health conditions while detained in Nigeria's infamous Kooja prison.

Bitcoin sliding below $67,000, prompting a broad decline across the major cryptocurrencies.

Observers have pointed out that a slowing of stablecoin issuance is among

the causes of the crypto market's progress being continually halted. But with the U.S. election

less than two weeks away, traders say Bitcoin may cross previous highs. Jeff May, chief operating

officer at Crypto Exchange BTSE, telling Coin desk, quote, it is clear that the market is responding

positively to the upcoming change in administration and policies, whether it's Harris or Trump,

traders and investors think any sort of change will be good. Peter Todd, a Bitcoin developer who

was named as Satoshi Nakamoto in a recent HBO documentary is going into hiding.

Todd reportedly went into hiding due to an influx of financial requests and potential threats

from those believing he possesses Nakamoto's fortune, highlighting the real-world dangers

of such public allegations. Todd denied to coin dust that he is the pseudonymous creator Bitcoin,

a documentary called Money Electric, suggested Todd might be Satoshi Nakamoto,

based on his early interest in cryptography, technical skills, and a supposed informed slip-up.
