All eyes on the Federal Reserve. It's Wednesday, March 19th, 2025. I'm Christine Lee. This is Coindess Daily.

The Federal Reserve is expected to keep interest rates the same at 4.5% to 4.5% at the conclusion

of their Wednesday meeting and the focus will be on the future

of the quantitative tightening program. Traders at decentralized betting platform

polymarkets see a 100% chance that the Fed will end the QT program before May. The end of QT

could signal a new monetary regime potentially supporting risk assets, including Bitcoin.

Gains, however, could be tempered by potential stagflationary adjustments in the Fed's summary

of economic projections due to inflation and economic growth risks posed by U.S. President

Donald Trump's tariff war.

Meanwhile, Japan's central bank kept its benchmark interest rate steady at half a percent.

The decision limits pressure on Bitcoin's price as a stronger yen and rising yields, which

attract capital to traditional assets, are kept in check.
