Binance is again under scrutiny from the US SEC as the regulator filed proposed amended complaint against the crypto exchange.

The SEC mostly won against

Binances' motion to dismiss the initial lawsuit, but the proceedings left open legal

questions about certain tokens. In the new filings, the SEC emphasizes Binances'

exchange listing process and addresses issues related to the company's secondary BNB sales

and Binance's simple finance's simple earned product.

FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried has formally appealed his fraud conviction.

SBF, who was sentenced to 25 years in prison in April,

requested a new trial and accused the judge overseeing his case of being unfairly biased against him.

Last November, a New York jury found Bankman Freed

guilty on seven counts of fraud and conspiracy tied to the implosion of Crypto Exchange

FTX. On chain brokerage, Delta Prime sought over $6 million worth of various tokens

drained from its wallet early Monday. According to security researchers on X,

the exploit was caused by a private key leak,

a hacker gained control of an admin proxy

and redirected it to malicious contract,

eventually leading to a financial loss.
