0:10.7	protected person under the gag order in the Manhattan criminal case
0:15.9	where Donald Trump was convicted on 34 felony counts.
0:20.0	Moments ago Justice Mershahn made a ruling,
0:24.4	lifting the gag order partially as it relates to witnesses
0:30.5	and as it relates to the jury.
0:32.1	Now, the protective order as it relates to the jury. Now the protective order as it relates to specific jurors' identities
0:38.1	and keeping the jury anonymous from the public,
0:41.6	that remains in effect, but Donald Trump is now permitted to comment on the jury, and he's permitted to comment on witnesses like Michael Cohen and Stormy Daniels.
0:52.6	Justice Mershahn said that he was making this order reluctantly,
0:58.0	but that now that the trial proceedings are over,
1:01.8	he thought that based on New York law, the appellate division and ultimately the
1:06.4	Court of Appeals would view that there is a change in circumstances on the integrity of the proceeding justification for the gag order.
1:16.3	The proceedings themselves is still taking place because of sentencing on July 11th, but since the trial is over and Trump was convicted
1:26.7	and witnesses are not going to be called in that specific trial, nor is the jury impaneled anymore.
1:34.4	They've been discharged from their duties.
1:36.8	Justice Mershon felt he had no other decision
1:40.6	to make other than this.
1:41.8	And, you know, like say what you want but
1:44.1	justice mershana has not been making all these orders against Donald Trump he was
1:48.4	actually fairly even in the amount of orders that were pro-Trump
1:52.5	or pro-prosecution during the trial,
