Former President Donald Trump's criminal trial continues in Manhattan.

Trump's former lawyer, Michael Cohen, testified about working for Trump and securing the hush money payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels.

Daniels also testified last week and faced tense cross-examination from Trump's lawyer.

Meanwhile, the presiding judge has rejected Trump's request to declare a mistrial.

So you mentioned a second ago, Joyce,

some of the compelling testimony that was heard this morning.

Let's review a couple of examples.

And these principally go towards the falsification of documents counts, right, that are misdemeanors unless they can prove a second step.

But I, you know, I've already said, and I think you've agreed with this, that even before Michael Cohen took the stand,

they have pretty much proved beyond a reasonable

doubt that these documents were false records.

The money was claimed to be for legal services, it just wasn't true.

And to put a fine point on it, Cohen testified today that, you know, I created a document and called it an invoice.

And then he wrote, Kindly Remit Payment for Services rendered for the months of January and February.
