I should be one of the better players in the field and I should get through.

And then I show up to sectionals and I'm surrounded by live guys, live guys.

And I, like, I was hitting on the range this past year and I hit one wedge a little bit

thin and I like looked around to see if anyone noticed that I had mishit the shot.

Like, oh my God, they heard that and now they all think I suck.

It's a, it's a very real, like, mental variable.

And I do think that especially guys who are as hot and cold as Higo is, where you can tell,

like, confidence level is affecting his quality of play, the guys that he's surrounded with

in the field, that's going to affect his confidence. So I don't think that that's just like a random variance thing. I think that that's an actual effect that will have some predictive value when it comes to Higo. And even to take a look at his stats on the rabbit hole right now, it bears out. I'm pretty sure. He's a better putter on Bermuda than he was out west, and he's very bad on Poa by course length, short, very short, pretty good. And this is on the short to very short scale. And then you start looking by field strength. Very strong sucks. Strong sucks. Average sucks. Gains all of his strokes against weak fields and very weak fields. I'm going to guess that this is a very weak field.

And now, hey, where is he gained his most strokes on very easy courses?

If this continues to play like it did each of the past two years,

would you qualify this as a very easy course?

Either very easy or easy.

So regardless, it sets up pretty well for him.
