Thank you, my friends, for joining us once more. Tonight, we've got a lot to talk about, as always, it's been another crazy month.

So much has been happening that I didn't know where to start, but I thought, let's just

go with the biggest story in the world, I would say, which is the trade war, which has led to

a huge economic fallout, not as much as most people would have expected just yet.

And that's because the US is out in front in terms of inventories.

So I just wanted to begin this one with a little article that I've got,

just to lay out for listeners, where we are with the trade war,

and then I'm really interested to get both of your thoughts on this one.

So let's just share the screen. So it's the first boats carrying

Chinese goods with 145% tariffs are arriving in LA and shipments are cut in half. Expect

shortages soon, which I thought was an interesting one. It's CNN and they're actually

advertising now

that shortages are coming in the US. So what happened was the business leaders were basically

front-running potential tariffs, so they got huge inventories, and they're about to run out,

and we're finally getting to the point now where the shortages are going to happen. And it says in here,

in fact, I'll just read you a little bit. It says this week, this is for the LA port. It says that

they're down in terms of shipping by 35% compared to the same time last year. And the cargo ship's

coming in at the first ones to be

attached with tariffs, which were livid against China. And it's currently, I think I've already said,

145%. It says the drop off in imports from China on the boats now coming in into port is more
