Independence! Independence yo! Independence Yo. It was recently Independence Day, I guess yesterday was

Independence Day in the United States.

The 4th of July, Independence Day, where we celebrate our independence,

our declaration of independence

from those horrible terrible British

Independence from the British.

So the Declaration of Independence is one of our kind of important

documents in America, American history. And it was basically a declaration of war, a declaration of independence from the British Empire,

where the American colonies decided they were going to become independent, goodbye to Britain.

And of course this launched the Revolutionary War, which America won and became independent.

And that's why we celebrate it on July 4th, because that's the day of the official declaration.

That is not the day we won.

That is the day really that we officially started the war against the British.

So, the Declaration of Independence is a very famous document.
