Summary

Farmers and Hunters Feeding the Hungry (FHFH) has been connecting sportsmen with excess venison with those in need since 1997. In fact, the organization has provided 20.2 million servings of venison since its inception, and in 2018-2019 FHFH provided 178,668 pounds of meat that produced 714,672 servings. I talked with Josh Wilson, FHFH's executive director, about the success of the program and he explained how easy it is for hunters to donate.
