Hello friends, happy Tuesday.

Welcome back to another coffee chat episode where we catch up on what's been going on behind the scenes and talk through what I'm learning this week.

But first, today's Rose Bud and Thorn. The Rose for Today is that this week

Obie and I have gone to the coffee shop each morning to journal and read and it's really giving like throwback early in our relationship.

We were like major coffee shop goers.

I think we still are but not daily but at the time and we were having coffee out twice a day every day for many years and

Now we're so out of the habit of that that it feels really special like a treat and that has been really lovely.

My bud is I'm just really looking forward to all of the autumnal baking. I'm going to get to do in my

kitchen hopefully soon. I want to make an apple pie. I get to go back to making bread.

So looking forward to that. And my thorn is my back. I have, my

back's been hurting since like the end of July, and I have not been able to shake it. I have some medicine now that is working and helping, but man I am not a fan quite frankly. So I wanted to share a little bit of an update on where we are

what's going on for us right now we have been in Atlanta with Obie's family since I believe September 27th.

Whatever the Saturday is of that week, we left early that morning, got here by dinner. It was a bit of a long driving day just with all the craziness going on after Helene.

But we've been here for, you know, almost close to a month and water came back to our home this week in Asheville. So very exciting.

There it's not drinkable water yet. It's you can use it for everything except for drinking.

It's got like a boil water advisory if you boil the water for a minute you can drink it but we'll probably

stock up on some water here and just drink that. It's been an interesting thing to watch.
