Yeah, and first in the news is an article that was published in the proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America.

The article is titled The Precise Temporal Calibration of Dinosaur Origins.

It was written by Claudia Marcicano, Randall Ermus, and others.

The authors were interested in how quickly dinosaurs evolved from their ancestors and what

drove them to evolve.

The article is behind a paywall, but I think they were studying fossils in the Chaniaris

formation in the La Rioja province of Argentina and South America.

It had previously been postulated.

The dinosaurs evolved very shortly after the Permian Triaxic extinction event,

also known as the Great Dying, that killed more than three quarters of the animals on Earth.
