Cody Canada, is it safe. Do you like, you probably don't like the term legend,

but you can, I think a lot of people

consider yourself a legend in that red dirt scene.

When you hear that, do you just laugh it off like you just did or do you kind of appreciate

kind of some of the, the road you paved for all these young guys today?

I pretty much laugh at it.

No disrespect, but it, I don't know.

I just, I don't know.

I'm not, I'm not used to stuff like that.

But I appreciate it, you know.

I really do appreciate it.

Who are some of your influences that kind of got you started?

Because I feel like we can look at kind of the red dirt scene or even some of the Texas rock guys

and every single one of them will call you an influence.

So who are the kind of people that got you started?

Within the scene, it was definitely Mike McCleur.

When I was probably 16, I think I was 16, I went to see the, I actually went to see

Crystal do in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

And this band was up there playing a Bob Wilson. Yeah. Crystal Dew in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

And this band was up there playing a Bob Wilson, but they were playing it with like Eddie Van Halen wrist.

And I thought it was sacrilegious.
