Cody, Canada, is it safe? Do you like, you probably don't like the term legend, but

0:19.4

you can, I think a lot of people consider yourself a legend in that red dirt scene.

0:25.1

When you hear that, you just laugh it off, like you just did, or do you kind of appreciate

0:30.2

kind of some of the road you paved for all these young guys today?

0:35.2

Hey, I pretty much laughed at it. No disrespect, but it, I don't know. I don't know. I'm not used

0:48.6

to stuff like that, but I appreciate it, you know. I really do appreciate it.

0:52.8

Who are, who are some of your influences that kind of got you started? Because I feel like

1:41.2

know if I like it. I don't know if I hate it. And I loved it. I think it was just it shocked

1:47.6

me to see, you know, one thing that I knew, and it was close to that was Steve Earl, you

1:54.1

know, and he was extremely untouchable at the time of my life. And so I actually got

2:00.0

to see somebody play country music with, oh, how do I put it? I mean, it was a country

2:07.6

rock thing, you know, but it was just like, reckless, you know, they, it's like they cared

2:14.6

but they didn't care at the same time, you know. And that was really what I was looking

2:19.6

for. I didn't know that I was looking for something. I knew that I was going to be a musician,
