I don't think, and I'd love to give you a great answer at 10-1 in the morning. I'd love to come up with a solution.

Right now, when you look at this offense and how consistently bad it's been, and obviously last night they don't score a run against Shane McClanahan in the race bullpen. There truly is no answer other than guys being better. Yeah, but that's so easy to say. It's like, why is the strikeout rate as high as it is for everybody?

And it's not just the bad hitters, it's the good hitters as well. I mean, they set a record two days ago when they had 17 strikeouts and two straight days. They did, but you know what they also did? They scored some runs. Right, right. But that's all that matters to me. But I think, forget the runs that were scored. It's ultimately an underlying issue. And at this point, if you're a Yankee fan, or just forget the fan, if you're the Yankees, what's the answer? Like, that's the problem. You start looking for people to blame. And it's easy to sit here and say, oh, Aaron Boone didn't do X, Y, or Z, but Aaron Boone's not taking at-bats. It's the approach is messed up. And I feel like I don't want to go, you know, look at the hitting coach. I don't want to go look at, I don't know, the bench coach. It does come down to the individual, but something's got to change, but I don't know how it changes for this team.

That's what I mean by simple and complicated.

It is simple to diagnose what's been wrong with the Yankees.

There are so many stats that I could give you right now because they've been all over the place over the last few days on how inept the Yankee offense has been.

One stat that was shown last night was the fact that they have now had a stretch of games in which they have scored five runs or less that matches the record in the history of the New York Yankees.

Or the fact that their offense had 11 strikeouts or more and zero walks in consecutive games for the first time ever.

Like I can give you more, but that's just like a taste of all the stats that prove what we already know,

which is that their offense is bad.

And so that's the simple part.

Like, last night the Yankees lost because they couldn't score a run.

The complicated part is, how do you fix it?

Like, I always hear on this radio.

Or whose fault is it?
