Hey, deserving listeners. It's just me today. This is a patron only follow up to my

0:05.6

codependency deep dive. I asked in the deep dive for patrons to write in their own reaction

0:13.2

to the deep dive, talking about their own experiences with codependency,

0:17.5

because I think that's where a lot of the learning and the wisdom comes from is to hear people's

0:22.5

stories, how the theory applies to people. And I try to do that in the deep dive by providing

0:28.2

examples, but to read people's accounts of actual codependency and their observations, I think

0:35.3

is very illuminating. So that's what I'm going to do in this episode. I'm going to read all

0:40.4

and there were a lot of people he emailed in. It was interesting how much the deep dive on codependency

0:45.5

resonated with people. I didn't, I don't think I expected that, but now that I'm reading all your

0:50.8

stories, it makes a lot of sense, because codependency as a personality issue, I think is a lot more

0:57.6

common. And then people realize that I also think that it is, you know, you can have mild cases

1:04.9

of it that are quite common. Like when I start looking around the people that I know, I would say

1:12.1

that there's a pretty good percentage that are at least somewhere on the spectrum, maybe not like

1:16.8

full blown, but mildly codependent. And I think it's a real ignored area for a variety of reasons

1:26.2

that I might get into. But anyway, so this is a patron only episode. And if you want to hear

1:31.2

the full episode, you have to become a patron by going to patreon.com. And when you become a

1:36.8

patron, you'll get access to this full episode along with a lot of other deep dives that we do.

1:42.4

I don't know how long this episode is going to be, but probably long, because there's a lot of emails.
