South American cocaine into the United Kingdom. He came up with ingenious smuggling techniques

and was one of the first British drug traffickers

to figure out how to melt pure cocaine into furniture and pass it through customs. In the mid-2000s,

Peter was arrested in Ecuador and sentenced to 10 years in the most brutal Supermax prisons in

all of South America, where he witnessed horrifying violence that most soldiers never see in an

official war.

He himself was almost killed numerous times in prison riots and gang beefs.

But he survived and was repatriated back to Britain where he has finally put the drugs down

and picked up the pen.

Then I parked the car, popped out, closed the door, and I started running. And he pulls out a burner, shank. It's like six inches. And he passes it to me. And he goes, here, that's yours. Don't ever leave the cell block without this.

He was the reason I made it out of a place alive.
