My name is Jeff Luck, you're on the Athletic, and I'm along

by co-worker Jordan Bianchi. We have just watched the Coca-Polo 600 from afar, crown jewel race

here on Memorial Day weekend, and we have some thoughts to share about that. Quite an interesting

race, I guess, at least in some aspects jordan how are you doing tonight

i'm doing well weird memorial day by the way can we just acknowledge no indy 500 no monocle grand prix

and just how weird it was not to see those two races today yeah i mean it was it just i don't know

it just didn't even really feel like Memorial Day weekend to me.

I mean, I know this was the Coke 600, but, you know, number one, without the Indy 500 and without

just being able to do what you would normally do on a holiday weekend anyway, like go see people or have

barbecues or whatever for the most part.

You know, I don't know.
