If you put your effort and concentration and to play into your potential to be the best that you can be, I don't care what the scoreboard says at the end of the game. In my book, we're going to be winners.

The talent for so many players today, the talent and the spotlight, it's taking them to heights that their character's not strong enough to support.

I'm one of those set goals achievements.

I talked about faith, passion, obviously the drive with the guys that I've been around,

and the guys that surround me every single day.

If I want to be one of the best, I've got to play with and against the best.

So that which gets praised gets repeated.

need to be aware and prepared that if you are being led by a coach that does this how do you

respond all right it's a four part series this, how do you respond? All right, it's a four-part series. This is episode one. When you've got a controlling coach, how do you respond as a player? Yeah, really interesting. I wonder how many... Controlling coach. You have a controlling coach. How do you respond? One thing that thinks pretty cool is probably you don't have an over-controlling coach

if they're letting you listen to this, right?

If they're telling you to listen to it, if you're listening to it as a team.

But I've been through this. Everybody that's played a career has been through a controlling coach. You know, it's not – I think all of us have been in that situation. but the most important thing is what do you do as a player if you have a controlling coach?

And you know, you become, what we have a controlling coach and you know you become

what we say the controlling coach creates is compliant players and a compliant player for those

you listen is like you just have to do whatever they tell you and you don't really think for

yourself and you don't and it can really cause a staleness in your career you know like you just

become a robot and you probably didn't get into the

game to be a robot you know like there's some freedom you have in it for me it was like shooting

outside when I didn't feel good and my thoughts and there's some level of creativity and wholesomeness

to play in and you know you know beat the buzzer you're playing Jordan in your backyard or whatever. Like there's some of that. And so at the end of the day, you really didn't get into the game just to be a robot. You wanted to have some creative artistic freedom. You wanted to be a really good – and so what do you do in that particular situation? We're going to cover some of those things. I think, number one, then I'm going to pass it over to you, Adam.
