0:15.4	That's Tom Fennelly, that's Danny Cannell, fired up to bring you a full hour of college football conversation as we continue to
0:22.0	count down to the beginning of the 2025 season. We are going to roll through and have another draft.
0:28.4	This time we're not talking about quarterbacks. No, no, no, no. Get them out. We are talking about
0:33.5	impact players in college football that are not at the quarterback position. We'll be drafting
0:39.1	some of our favorites through four rounds talking about the impact positions in college football
0:44.4	today. Maybe a win total of the week before we get you out of here. But before we get started with
0:49.4	all that, it's rankings season, boys. First, we got the coaches poll on Monday.
0:56.0	Our very first top 25 and we get to peel it apart.
0:59.4	And sure enough, it is the Texas Longhorns, narrowly beating out the Ohio State
1:04.5	Buckeyes for the number one spot.
1:06.5	Texas at 1, getting 28 first place votes.
1:10.5	Ohio State at 2, getting 20 first place votes. Ohio State at two, getting 20 first place votes.
1:14.6	Penn State at three, getting 14 first place votes. Tom Furnelli, as we look at that,
1:21.0	that's the top tier, right? Do you see it in the same way in terms of the battle, the debate for number one?
1:29.5	Yeah, I think that is one of the bigger storylines heading into the season is that we don't
1:35.1	really know who the number one team in the country is at this point because every single
1:39.2	team that you would consider putting in first place has a question mark surrounding it.
1:43.7	Like when you look at Penn State, as far as roster is concerned, that's the one we know the most about because it has the most returning players. It has returning quarterback. It has its running backs. It has most of its defense. It's just they haven't really proven their ability to beat those teams that they're up against. But then you look at Texas and Ohio State, new quarterbacks, new running backs, new receivers, new everybody, for the most part.
2:03.4	You're just kind of relying on their recruiting classes and the talent.
2:05.8	So, yeah, I think it's an accurate reflection of how I personally feel about college football
